Trotsky Josh '99 Trotsky Second violation of face off by same team on same faceoff: minor penalty. I wonder if that has ever been called in the history of hockey. With the NCAA and the pros both using the newly-adopted rule (actually I guess it isn't even all that new anymore) not to allow teams a line change before the faceoff following an icing, I've thought on more than one occasion that teaby ftyuv - Hockey

I'll add to the "prices need to be lower" choir, but from a slightly different perspective. I had never watched a game of hockey in my life until I came to Cornell; I fell in love with the sport pretty much instantly, and now play 2-3 times a week -- it's a big part of my life. I absolutely went to that first game because it was the cool thing to do, and so it makes me sad that that'by ftyuv - Hockey

Rita Jordan 04 Reminder: Murray vs. Moulson kicks off tonight at 7:30! I believe it's picked up nationally on NBC Sports. Edit: I guess it's technically May now. All the NHL playoff games are on the NBC network family (nbc sports, cnbc, nbc and/or msnbc). The games can a bit hard to find if you don't know what to look for. SwampyIt stands to reason that as Cornell students we are introduced to new sports and, during our time on the hill, become devotees of some of them. It's natural that even naive, facetimer students are attracted to the sports in which Cornell is highly competitive. But over time, especially in a sport like hockey for which Cornell fans pride themselves for being knowledgeable, many facetimers leby ftyuv - Hockey

Ugarte's right, though, that any punishment will in some ways affect somebody who's innocent. If you fine the adult responsible, his family will have less money; is it fair to take away their Christmas because of what he did? If you fine the school, they'll have less money; is it fair to cut the athletic budget, possibly affecting kids in some other sport entirely, for what the adults did? If youby ftyuv - Hockey

BMac Finals very fun. Northestern looked like us out there- lots of chances to get scored on, got lucky and their goalie was good so 0-0 into the second. Then all hell broke loose. NU's Roy is amazing, no other word for it. Very fun game. NU fans loud. BC fans reactive. Neither fanbase clever. Only good cheers: 1- BC does safety school, NU responds with "Sunday School." 2-by ftyuv - Hockey
