WHEW!

Quote from: Brett Cyrgalis at the New York Post"Barron could join the Rangers after his season at Cornell ends in the spring — just as Chris Kreider did in leaving Boston College after a national championship ..."

If he does it just as Chris Kreider did, it sounds like a fair trade-off to me.::cheer::

I for one am impressed with the poise and security of a man who can go by "Ralphy."

Edit: It's "Raphy."  The Sun regrets the error.

Quote from: Schafer"The Tupker brothers are tireless workers and great two-way players. They kill penalties and have played on the power play. They're very, very tenacious as a set of forwards."

Please be Abbotts, please be Abbotts, please be Abbotts. (Since neither plays D.)

Who could be their Hornby?

Not much to see here but Barron gets a quick positive mention in the future of the Rangers.

"There's a boatload of intrigue up front in New York and while the most exciting players are on the wing, the most competitive position will be at center. I have Chytil as the future No. 1, but frankly Barron could be the guy, based on his early work at Cornell."

You have to wonder whether they made Barron a captain this year in anticipation that he may not be around next year.

Maybe so, although we've had a number of junior captains in recent years too
