... I'll start posting both USCHO and CHN's.

Don't change anything but whenever I see the cut-off at 16 teams with an AQ falling way below the line, I always think "why isn't the cut-off at 15?"

You're correct, the #16 team is not going to make it.

And of course 15, 14, etc. will not make it if dark horses win the major conference tourneys.

Sure, but that is more speculative. As it stands, no matter who wins the Atlantic, they bump Notre Dame.

Of course.  Just saying there's no real magic number until it's all done, so truncating will always give somewhat of a false sense (not to mention that listing the next 4 or so teams gives an idea of who is a threat to overtake teams on the bubble).

None of this matters, since the links list everybody.

Agreed, I'm just saying they usually draw a line under 16, denoting the "cut", when the true cut is - at best - 15. That's why I made clear that I wasn't expecting Jim to do anything different, because I'm being exactly the kind of person that I usually roll my eyes at.

That's good, since I wouldn't anyway.:-D

Even a loss might leave us with a shot, but then it becomes dicey.
