To Cam and Chris Abbott, Louis Chabot, Jon Gleed, Matt Moulson and Dan Pegoraro, thank you guys for five great years.  I hope you've enjoyed them as much as we have.  Way to leave it all on the ice in your last game, you guys played your hearts out.

No question, such a hardworking buncha guys.  It was a great season, and nice to us to keep representing for the ECAC even when we get sent out west.  LGR!

Absolutely...it's been a fun ride. It would have been incredible to bookend their careers with FF appearances -- but that was one amazing game to end on.

Also, have to thank the entire team and staff for putting together an inspired performance this weekend.

Thanks to the team, the seniors, coaches and also to "Teets"!  Saw Mike Teeter behind the glass in one of the between period shots from Green Bay.  :-)
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

To the seniors,
I echo all of the above sentiments -  with heartfelt thanks:

May the ice be always smooth,
May the wind be at your back
and May your lives,
be full of challenge  and happiness and friends!

Great group of young men who will be sorely missed.

How about an asterisk for Shane Hynes.  I often found myself pondering the impact he could have made (figurative and literal).

I fear his days behind the bench may be numbered.....

Well said, Josh, and I agree.  Especially after nineteen seasons of this, it's hard to believe it when any group of seniors finally leaves at the end of their four years.  However, the days are blissfully long gone when I would look at who's graduating, note how little impact most of them really had during their time on the Hill, and simply shrug my shoulders.  Thank you seniors - and thank you, Schafer, for bringing them here as freshmen.

I'll enjoy myself in Milwaukee next week, but I really need the next seven months to recover from this past weekend.

Look on the bright side.  His absence gave the youngins that much more game experience.

Here's wishing Moulson well in the 2006 NCAA SkillZ Competition.
