I was especially impressed to read that they didn't get to their hotel rooms Friday night until 2:30 am.

Without having seen the message, maybe a major traffic delay but very hard to believe unless they left Hamden close to midnight.

As per the email (which, I was gonna mention the Big Red Travelogue Part Two but didn't want to catch the heat from Coach again) they got stuck on a bridge on their way "out of the city". (Not sure which - did they travel through NYC? Wouldn't it be easier to go west?)
