Yes, I wanted Harvard for the atmosphere. You may have been right that a different opponent would have been easier — but we'll never know.

My feeling is that the issue isn't the opponent; it's that our play needs to be a bit sharper.

I think they end up behind Cornell in NPI no matter what (unless they win HE). So they can get an at-large, but Cornell gets in ahead of them, unless they win HE.

Speaking of, if Providence wins HE, we are in the NCAAs. But that can't happen until next weekend. Providence plays Merrimack today in the HE quarterfinals.

They were listed as 15th but really tied for 14th with UMass. I still have my window with the rankings from this morning to get a feel for how the NPI shakes out with all the games today.
