Been there, done that.  Q was in Atlantic Hockey and its predecessor, the MAAC, for seven years.  You'll find this hard to believe, but they were a top-two seed every year and produced... one championship.

Yes.  My memory hasn't forgotten the dark day the ECAC let them join.  If not Atlantic I'd also think we can hope they return to club status.
