Indiana is a top-10 team in the country this year. What a get

I believe the Indiana offer was from a few years ago, before his recruiting profile dipped some. But his offer from Kansas was in July 2024, so he seems like a legitimate D1 recruit.

It'll be interesting to see who takes over for Wang.  Starting a freshman at QB on game one of next season would be rare, perhaps later in the season.  I feel it will be a battle between juniors Garrett Bass-Sulpizio and Devin Page.

the fact that i do not recall either name makes me think it's not out of the question that we have a 4-year starter

Page transferred from Penn, so he has history with Swanstrom. And, his older brother is a starter on the O-line. No idea though if he is starter material.

Because Wang was so durable, never missing a start this season, the backup QBs were virtually unseen.  Whomever replaces Jameson next season will hopefully have a stronger running attack to depend on.

Thanks Ken for maintaining the list

Yes, job one: establish a running game.

I'm not hoping for Dan Marino. I just hope we can coach a guy to read the defenses and throw an accurate ball in a West Coasty type offense.

Speaking of the running game, Penn's super sophomore and this season's Ivy League rushing leader with nearly 1,200 yards, running back Malachi Hosley has entered the transfer portal.

Excited about the future Red.  The last commit on Ken's list - Noah McDuffie - turned down BC & Syracuse to play for Coach Swanstrom & Cornell.

Older brother (now with Packers) committed to SU under Shafer. Shafer was replaced by Babers, brother switched to BC. Noah's 1st D1 offer was from Babers, who was replaced by Brown.  SU just can't get one of those McDuffies. There is also a cousin currently at Kansas, via UB and Georgia Tech. I don't know if there's any more Buffalo McDuffies in the pipeline or if they'll have to wait for the next generation.
