Certainly looked like the ECAC's goon of the year took a stick to the head.

Incredible effort.

Colgate sweeps Yale and will face us.

Colgate announcer gives a shout-out to "my friend Jason Weinstein," and wishes Mike Schafer a healthy return.

Colgate announcer John McGraw has some hilarious quips and a dorky, nasally affect. Honestly one of the best in the biz.

Actually, he's the one announcer that I came to dislike this weekend and I listened to all four.   To his credit, I'm amazed that he can recall all of that minutia, on the fly, while staying up with the play-by-play.    But, to me, it made me weary trying to process all of it and also follow the flow of the game.   I ended up muting the tv.

I agree. While I'm impressed with this ability to name every junior program a kid played for on the fly, listening to him can be exhausting. He needs to remember that sometimes "less is more."

I think if he gets a partner to share the microphone with, he would be great

Not just exhausting.  I was at the RPI game and only had ESPN+ on for part of the OT on Friday.  He was blathering about things that weren't interesting or relevant during OT. He was filling space because there was no color guy and it got annoying really fast for me.

Yet I did enjoy most of his patter during the CU @ Colgate game.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Yes, that would help.
