Locke, Mallott, Smith, Green out all weekend.

Anyone able to find the game on ESPN+?

It doesn't seem to be there.

Pretty bad injury toll for this early in the season.

That fluke goal... geez...

But the second goal: how was that not too many men on QU? Sure looked like the goalscorer jumped off the bench early. Isn't that a point of emphasis this season?

I'm not sure how much we can expect from refs that couldn't get icing right all night.

I tuned in after the fluke goal and caught roughly the last 8 minutes. That was just about the best puck movement I've ever seen from Cornell and we just couldn't quite squeeze one past Shortridge. Also, Yanni Kaldis is fun to watch.

Brutally unlucky between the injuries and the fluke goal. Starrett game misconduct wasn't on camera so can't say whether that was stupidity or a bad call. Same goes for the second Quinnipiac goal (line change was off camera and couldn't make out whether too many men). But if they were stupidity, boy were they stupid, in a game Cornell otherwise played well in given the serious personnel disadvantage.

Also WTF with this major interference crap being called on us.  Bit us in the 2017 regional in the third.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

interesting part of the penalty is that he called it on Quin didnt he?  have to watch again. we had the puck into their zone, they placed the puck in their zone , maybe i just wasnt paying attention.

really tough to see them generate so many quality chances those last 10 min and not get a goal.  puck bounced over 5-6 guys sticks in a row at one point. and then to have 2 goals go in from basically center ice and beyond in one game..

really controlled play for almost the entire game, but really solid effort.

On Beau's penalty they did call a delayed penalty on Quinnipiac. Matt had left the goal and was heading to the bench.

The only problem with that is that there was NO penalty called against Quinnipiac at that point in the game.   https://cornellbigred.com/boxscore.aspx?path=mhockey&id=28811

They called a delayed penalty against Cornell, then let Cornell play the puck...   That's not how it's supposed to work.  The whole thing was handled badly by the officials!!!

Really a crushing loss. Need to find a way to win tonight, despite the injuries, if we want to stay in remotely decent shape to earn an at-large bid...

It's WAY too early to be worrying about bids.
