A look at our NC opponents' recent form (last 5 games not against Cornell) and PWR:WWWWL 21 Miami (x2)
WLWWT 31 UNH
WTWLL 34 CC
LLWLW 38 Merrimack (x2)
LLWTT 59 NMU

11 right now, a whisker ahead of Vermont. I think we flip the SLU comp with a win. So let's win.

RichH

Still interesting: with Quinnipiac falling to #24 after their loss to us, Cornell has still yet to register any Quality Win Bonus. The only other team in the top 40 without a Quality Win is UNH (31).

RichH

Up four spots to #15 in the 1/16/17 USCHO poll. ECAC teams sit at 6, 9, 15, 16, 17.

Gotta admire Guy Gadowsky's work -- in four years he's taken a relatively new program to the top spot as of this week.

Here they are.

BU beats BC and we drop in the pairwise.  Not quite "The law of unintended consequences", but close.

Are you sure you're using a consistent numbering system for the seasons?  Shouldn't this be "2017"?

Bringing it up because 2002-03 was a much better year than 03-04!

Also, according to this, since 2010, 27 points in-conference was enough to guarantee a first-round bye, and >7 games above .500 overall was enough to guarantee an at-large bid.  A 7-6 finish in the ECAC would get us to 27 points and a .500 finish (incl. ECAC tournament) would keep us at 7 games over .500.  However, the ECAC is very top-heavy this year and the latter statistic doesn't really reflect the effect of ties on the PWR.

Here's the link to pts by seed.  We'd need 27 points post-2010 (the 5th place team in 2015 had 26).

As you point out, the NC$$ is a different breed of cat.
