We knew (or at least suspected) that Espo and Ferlin could be out, but happened to Gotevets?

From the I'm-Really-Going-To-Be-Sorry-I-Pointed-This-Out department:

Whenever Cornell has been the #1 seed in the ECAC tournament in a season ending in the number 2 (1972, 2002), they've lost the ECAC championship game.

Whenever Cornell has been the #1 seed in a season not ending in the number 2, they've won the championship.

In 1972 the ECAC championship game was four days before the new moon.  This year it's 5 days before.  But in 2002 it was two days after the new moon.  So there's no correlation whatsoever!!!

Union may have tranny trouble.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

That sounds like something from a completely different type of forum :-)

Cornell now in a 4-way tie for 7th in the PWR, with Union dropping to 11th.

BU kicking high holy hell out of UVM tonight.

Effectively this make us 10th as we have the lowest RPI.  My gut feeling is we can afford one loss and still get an at large bid.  I think we want Harvard to win enough to stay a TUC.  ::yark::

Cornell is now 2 for 2 in games where that the opposing team's fans chant "scoreboard" before the third period. Hopefully, they'll keep doing that.

Also, on ECACHockey.com we're still listed as being in 2nd place. What's up with that?

Ideally, Cornell could play (and sweep) and TUC in the QF. Don't know if that's possible based on the standings. Also don't know if the sweep would send that team over the cliff...

Union has more wins?  Maybe tiebreakers come into play only after the last game is played.

Edit: thinking about it more,  the two teams are tied for first, and if that holds after tomorrow night, they will share the title and pisspot.   Head-to-head is used only to determine seeding for the tournament if tied.

Rodger Craig scored more goals than Austin Smith tonight.
