Something else happened to drop MSU out of the tie, AND they're still losing to Notre Dame (2-0 with ~11 min to go in the 3rd).  Minny has tied up UNO, 7:45 to go in the 3rd.

A very entertaining game tonight. The first period was very rough but after that they boys played with more focus. There was still too many defensive lapses but Iles was on his game and bailed them out when necessary. The defensive zone passing was questionable at times. The deflection by McCarron was a very nice to watch. Craig's goal was just plain simple hard work. A great finish for some hard work along the boards and a nice quick shot.

I thought that Craig's goal was a gem by Whitney. Whitney held the puck in the Cornell zone until the line change occurred. He then made a beauty of a pass which Craig finished with a great move along the boards. Replay!

Best part of tonight is right after the goalie name spell chant a Union fan who somehow found his way into Section B turned to me and said that Grosenick was the best goalie in the league. Iles spent the rest of the night showing him up.
