Interesting article about Cornell Tech in Business Insider.

That is simply an awesome pickup.  My company was founded by her sister, Judy, and a number of its early employees were PhD students under Deborah at USC.  It's harder to find a better person who is great at what she does and can really bring people together and build a team like that, so if this is the first hire it's a great indication of things to come.

Amazon likely to split HQ2 into HQ2a and HQ2b. One in Crystal City (Arlington) VA near DC. The other, Long Island City, the very western edge of Queens, spitting distance from Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island in the East River.

Came across some interesting videos on the concept and development of Cornell Tech.  I assume that you need Amazon Prime membership to watch the videos, but can view the trailers without it.
