Now I need a new favorite player on the Cornell Hockey team.  Say it ain't so!  Come back home, O'Byrne!

Tough break for the Big Red!!  After that game-ending play in Minnesota, I was really down on you.   However, your play last year made a believer of me.   Good luck, Ryan!!    Thanks for the memories.
Come on, let's look at it as a challenge.  I want a chance to see a horribly depleted Big Red still run the ECAC.
I want to see a national championship - I can count a frozen four appearance as a moral victory but anything less and I'm losing hair.

So what will the defensive pairings look like?  Glover has to be considered the top remaining defensemen and he is a senior.  I would guess Seminoff followed by Salmela or Krantz.  It's hard to tell since Glover and Krantz were hurt last year.  We have Krueger and Nash coming in.  We'll be in trouble if there are any injuries.  I can see Bitz playing defense if we get hit with the injury bug.

Davenport played some last year as a frosh.  Looks like seven D-men going into the season, which doesn't leave much room for injury.

Good catch, I forgot about Davenport since we didn't see him much at the end of the season.

If we could score 9 or more goals in any single game, I'd be thrilled  ::nut::
I'll take a 9 goal weekend.

Talk about burying the lead. Isn't news like this deserving of its own thread entitled "Oh SH*T, OB is gone!"?

I was out in a cornfield all day on Wednesday (and many of the past 28 days) and was too tired to scroll through 21+ messages last night (my eyes just wouldn't stay open).

Major Bummer.

Well, good luck Ryan, we will definitely miss you.

Where are the trade deadlines and waiver wires when you need them? ::doh::
We can all blather all we want about the new recruits, but it would have been a special team with McKee, Bitz and Pokulok in the lineup next year.
With a Regional in Rochester, that team (especially with O'B) would have been a strong Frozen Four contender. Now, replacing Moulson seems so innocent.

PS, please...may the gods be kind to you.

From the new roster, Davenport does indeed return to the team as a sophomore.  However, I suppose he could still be down to 2 years of eligibility remaining.
