According to the IJ, David McKee is back in the news. He's seeking to have charges dismissed.
He's also signed with the Allen Americans, in the CHL, who are located right near his home town and are a Dallas Stars affiliate. He has yet to play a game.

Hey all, a couple of friends and I are driving home after graduating yesterday, so we just have phone access, is anyone in a position to give more frequent score and time updates, a la hockey? Would be much appreciated if possible. Thanks!

I'm in my fourth undergrad year of attending games, and every time they try to stop swearing, the only way of convincing us to stop is by threatening to kick us out. That makes it seems like the only reason to stop swearing is so they won't kick us out, whereas the people on this thread have presented some much more admirable reasons. If the email they sent to us said, "stop swearing because there are kids in the rink" instead of "stop swearing because we've got the pep band under the gun", I think the fans would respond a bit more respectfully. This isn't about the students who read this forum, it's about the hundreds who don't who haven't been given a reasoned argument to stop.

Any recommendations for a place to eat in Hamilton? Not in the mood to spend that much, but also not in the mood to end up at the Subway down the street like last time.

Another update from the Ithaca Journal...

Notes: Seibald, who hurt his ankle in Saturday's win over Towson, said his injury has improved but he's not 100 percent. His status for Saturday's game is still uncertain. "It's doing alright," he said. "I'm rehabbing it and taking it slow." As to whether he thinks he'll be able to play on Saturday, he said: "I still don't know yet. We're taking it slow and not forcing it."

Quote from: The Harvard CrimsonThe fifth-year senior from St. Louis finished his eighth semester and his Harvard degree in biology this January, rendering him ineligible, as a midyear graduate, to play for the Crimson during the second term.

But it's inconsistency that makes this so difficult. Sure, throw us all out when the third period begins, or when someone goes into the box. But don't throw out two people and say you're enforcing the rule. Don't make it an issue, as you said your usher does, of whether s/he happens to be standing behind you when you let it out. Be consistent, because this weekend I had an usher staring right at me, and instead of keeping it clean in the chants, I just kept my mouth shut, because I'm scared of being made the game's example. That was me and my roommate, in section B, not chanting, and it's two less voices in Lynah.

For Topher's contact to the head after the play near the end, I saw two of their guys pinning him to the back of the goal and going at his head, while the play was still going. The scrum after was nothing compared to the beating he took that the refs didnt call.

Davenport impressed me again tonight - kept us in the game during a looong second period - a couple of stops on his chest that the team was able to clear almost have me a heart attack.
Sure I'm scared when he leaves the net, especially if he doesn't know where the forecheck is, but sometimes he's been great at it. In the last 30 seconds, leaving to stop one coming around the top of the boards kept us in possession. I hear there were problems last weekend, but he seems to get back quickly enough...

Few guys stood out tonight, but the D by Tay Davenport and Seminoff was great, even if Nash didn't seem so hot tonight. Tony Romano had the moves, when he was given the puck, but the passes just never got to their targets. I give him a lot of credit for trying - he riled up the crowd and really set up some great opportunities. McCutch, too, was great early on, fighting deep on the power play too.
I'd have loved to see Sawada pick up his game last night - felt like he never touched the puck. Him and Barlow are two guys I expected to see a lot from tonight...
it was easy to tell who the facetimers were in the middle stretches. They were the ones yelling "shoot" just for the sake of getting a SOG
If you ask me, Krantz showed us that once in a while you've gotta send the puck to the net, whether it goes in or its a chance for a rebound or something. If Richter doesn't see anything all game, if we don't start fazing him, it makes it harder to score. I'm used to sending the puck in circles on the power play, and I'm fine with it, but when every pass to the wings gets denied, "just shoot" may work.

But I think it's important to note that for those of us who are used to the system where the SA subsidizes the sporting events, but isn't this year, we are paying the same student activities fee as last year, but not getting the same benefit. Sure, it's just part of the system that some clubs get money and some dont, and some clubs are better attended than others. But still, athletics is probably one of the best organizations for the SA to subsidize if they want to reach a large population of students.

I was really impressed with Davenport tonight - he seemed to have a good eye for the puck, and he stayed really relaxed the whole time, except that shot by Krantz that Troy caught between his knees. Almost gave both of us a heart attack, but he was quick to his knees.
