Re: WHCU Radio Broadcast - 14 years ago
RitaRichHrediceprofudgeredice and RichH, I agree - I miss the FM away game broadcasts and I am near top of hill about 20 miles south of Ithaca. AM is impossible to listen to most evenings. WHCU, please switch to FM for sports coverage. I admit that I don't know that radio business. So, I don't fully understand why they make their decisions. (And, as you might expect, they offer noby dss28 - Hockey
Re: Roll Call: Cornell @ Princeton on TV in NYC - 15 years ago
I ended up going to ESPN Zone; I had to stay late at work and ended up getting there with like 6mins left in the third period. But was able to listen to it (quietly) while at work! Keep us NYC folk posted for the NoDak game!!by dss28 - Hockey

Re: Roll Call: Cornell @ Princeton on TV in NYC - 15 years ago
I work until 530, but may be able to make it. Although, if it's on ESPNU, I may just go to ESPN Zone since it's 3 blocks from where I'm working. Not quite sure.by dss28 - Hockey
Re: Davy Ringtone - 17 years ago
Wait, is it possible to get a Cingular ringtone if I'm on Verizon? I'm sorry if that's a dumb question, but whatever.by dss28 - John Spencer Is Dead
Davy Ringtone - 17 years ago
Okay, a couple of years ago someone posted here that Davy was available as a ringtone, and I got it. I just got a new phone (the LG enV, and I'm in LOVE with it), and want to try to find it, but alas, the ringtone does not appear to be available anymore. Does anyone have it, and if so, could they send it to me as a sound file? I don't care if it's phone-to-phone or phone-to-email... ...by dss28 - John Spencer Is Dead

Re: So, who is going to start the Cornell Hockey Podcast - 18 years ago
Judy, I have iTunes set up as a manual update so I can choose what goes onto my iPod. That way, let's say you download a podcast and listen to it on your computer, but don't want to have it automatically taking up space on your ipod -- it gives you more control. Plus, if you delete stuff from your iTunes but still want it on your iPod, you don't have to worry about it being automatically dby dss28 - Hockey

dbilmes Wrote: Too early, or does anyone in the CT area want to get together and watch it (assuming we can't get up to Lynah)? Rookies in Cromwell (right off Rt. 9) is a really good central location with tons of TVs -- I was able to watch the one CSTV game there last year. If they got CSTV, it stands to reason they'll have ESPNU (and almost every bar in CT has NESN).by dss28 - Hockey

I'd be willing to bet that NESN will be showing Bruins games... for those who get NESN, that is.by dss28 - Hockey

The only hockey-related thing I know of is that Eric Kuselias plays 30 seconds of Brass Bonanza each day until the NHL comes back (Sports Bash, from 4-7 on ESPN Radio).by dss28 - Hockey

From the TSN morning email... The Chicago Wolves held off a late rally by the Manitoba Moose to win the opening game of the AHL's Western Conference final 4-3 Thursday night. Manitoba, trailing by three goals with four minutes left, made it close on goals by Cory Pecker at 16:11 and by Lee Goren at 18:40. Derek MacKenzie, Tim Wedderburn, J.P. Vigier and Stephen Bâby scored for the Wolvesby dss28 - Hockey
