Nice job sticking with it in the third.

Some on eLynah are - too be politically correct - challenged too.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Good job by the team to come back. It was always clear that there would be offensive opportunities throughout but things definitely need to be tighter tomorrow, as Omaha will probably continue to play gutsy

What the hell, might be worth sending him across an ocean before every game  :)

As a disciple of the Schafer school of hockey philosophy, i wanted to shoot a goose when we let up goals 3 and 4 from U-NO-who. But ok, glad to see things settle down in the end against a very slippery opponent.

Can't be choking a three goal lead but it's good that we untucked our balls and got the win.

Happy that Fegaras and Long got the monkeys off their backs (Fegaras' celly was him taking the monkey off his back which was hilarious).

Got a lot of dirty looks in section B and A from first time fans that got the ticket deals and probably didn't know it was the student section.

It was also cold as hell in Lynah today but if that's the price to pay for good ice I'll take it.

Weird thing to say when we scored six goals, but I thought UNO's goalie played very well. We could have had eight or nine pretty easily.

CHN's box score has our expected goals at 4.6 and UNO's at 1.7. (I have no idea how reliable CHN's xG metric is.) We dominated this game, even accounting for the 5-to-2 PP disparity.

I'm not sure I want to say Cournoyer had a bad game, exactly, because he was really hung out to dry on some of those goals. But we could have used a robbery or two.

Still, they're all line drives in the scorebook. On to tomorrow.

That's our captain.

As I predicted - UNO is a gutsy ass team that's probably a little better than its record suggests. Can't be doing the cardiac let-in-four-goals experience again. Good win, very glad we stuck it out. Now lock it down before tomorrow.

I think their xG is just based on where the shot comes from. So probably not very telling.
