I don't love the lights, but if it was a choice of the lights vs. the canned music, I'd probably keep the lights and get rid of the canned music. (Though ideally ditch them both.)

The one thing I really don't like about the lights is that they seem to wash out the red Cornell logo on the fronts of the jerseys.  When those red lights come on, it almost looks like the jerseys are all-white.

I've been following Cornell hockey for over 65 years.  The excitement comes from the high caliber play, the genuine enthusiasm of the Lynah faithful, the pep band, the clever chants, not from piped in music and flashing lights.  That's bush league stuff.  Get rid of it, please!

Oh, you just get right out of that career right now then.  Because if you want to live in the world that's coming (here?) we are all gonna have to do a lot more than write letters to save our souls.
