Sure looked like the BU guy was holding Bancroft's stick. Absurd.

That's what I saw, too.

seems like there have been barely any stoppages.   The last tv timeout was taken  with 22 seconds left in the period

I'm here. There are plenty of stoppages and nonsense and piped music in between

i stand corrected

on the replay, nice job from Shane to poke the puck before the breakaway could get a clean shot off.

Is it me or has every call in the tournament been insanely soft? The only one I've seen that was like "yeah that's a penalty" was MSU's trip.

To be fair I was not able to see either penalty in the first 10 minutes today. Maybe one of those was for real.

The NC$$ games have constant battering of garbage during stoppages.  It feels like a professional event.   Deeply gross and insulting.  We are lucky to have what we have, and need to fight piped in music and ads as the cancer they are.

Definitely the guy put his arm around Bancroft's stick.

In our games, they're calling soft ones, for sure. In other games it feels less... bad? Still surprised neither Yegorov nor Lachance got anything for the assault on Kraft.

From Jane:

These teams are basically tied in almost every category:

Score: 1-1
Shots: 23-23
Faceoff Ws: 16-15 CU
Shot attempts: 34-33 CU
Blocks: 5-5

I thought it'd be Yegorov tbh for throwing Kraft to the ice.

Kill it off and ride the momentum.  We already feel dissed and overlooked, mix in the refs as a fifth column and ratchet up the energy of a Band of Brothers.

I am so impressed with this team.  This is I think my favorite Cornell team since 1997, for the feels and for my high regard of the players' grit.

They said something similar on the broadcast.

The goalie always has the benefit of he doubt if he doesn't leave his crease.  I wasn't surprised by that.  But I really thought Lachance was going for railing him afterwards.

The Penney-Cooney parallel is strong. And #5 reminds me a lot of #5.
