Lining up in the damp and cold for 30 hours in '81.

Then watching frat douchebags grab the top 75 seats, having spent zero time on the line.

I have waited for 44 years to stab those people, repeatedly, in the face.  Hopefully their own greed will do it; c.f. DOGE.

But I'd still like a quickie slice.

Don't anger the woofing gods. There's no WIH Saturday unless they win Friday.

'72 (or was it '71?) line had a similar scenario but we who shall remain unnamed had a 30 second head start.

There's a women's hockey game worth watching at Lynah at 3pm on Saturday, whether we're in it or not.

This reminds me of when I was back in high school.  Some friends and I would take the E train from 179th Street in Queens to MSG to watch the Rangers.  This was the old MSG at 8th Avenue and 50th Street that had a lot of character, if not great sight lines.  General admission seats in the balcony were $2, $1.25 with a GO (general organization) card, essentially a high school ID.  This was before metal detectors and armed guards.

From the first row in the balcony you could see the entire ice surface.  In the second row, however, you had to stand up to see play along the near boards, so we'd try to arrive about a half hour before the first face off.  Still, there was always one Tony Sopranoesque guy from New Jersey who got there before us.  "Dese seats are all taken."  We didn't argue, the second row would do just fine!

Thanks!  This will give me more time to walk my dog and talk to my wife.

Controlling Remote Goalie not as important as the remote in the TV room.

Why on earth would we do that? Some of us are jealous.
