Starting the thread early because I just got this email:

Big Red Hockey Fans,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the Men's Ice Hockey game against St. Lawrence on Saturday, February 22nd. The game will now begin at 6PM, rather than the previously scheduled start time of 7PM.

Your existing tickets remain valid, and no further action is needed on your part. Doors will open an hour before the new start time.

Please adjust your plans accordingly to ensure you don't miss any of the action. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the game!

CU2007

Last home game of the regular season. Suspect there will be some sort of Schafer ceremony, necessitating the change.

The Rancor

They are home again in 2 weeks, no? Clarkson and Saint Lawrence?

In the Sun article it says schaf will miss the next home series (union/RPI) for his son's wedding. I'm certainly interested to see a test run for Casey as HC

What i think CU 2007 is saying is that the game which has been changed to a 6PM start is the last regular season game for 24-25.  It's Senior Night and Coach's last Senior Night.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

The timing of his son's wedding indicates (to me at least) that Schafer was planning to retire after last season but changed his mind.

Or that's  a really assertive fiancée.::uhoh::
"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."

Either he changed his mind before the season or was planning to sneak out without fanfare. That would have been quite a shock

This implies Casey will not be at the wedding. Does this mean he has had a falling out with Schafer?
