Have the SUNYs been trying to step up in sports?  Isn't Buffalo legitimately good now in basketball?

Do we have any chance in this?  My impression of SUNY-A is they are just a half-step below being an FBS D-1 program.

i think when we were in college these were all D3 schools, so, yeah. Binghamton managed to have a basketball recruiting scandal IIRC.

That's not bad for being down 3-0 after Q1. After our punt Albany got hit with a timely chop block penalty. The 15 yards pushed them out of the PK's range and his kick didn't clear the end zone.

Cornell started the drive with a jet sweep by Musungu for our first first down. Albany forced a punt, though. After a good punt inside the 20, Cornell had to rekick and the Great Danes conjures a penalty after the return and... the ball ended up in the same place.

Plus they keep going deep to wide open receivers but fortunately the Albany QB has no idea where the ball is going when he lets it go.

Yes! A WR screen is actually a WR pass down to the 7 and two plays later, a neat little slip screen from the 4 for a TD. Cornell up 7-6!

(Did I mention that Cornell stopped Albany on short 3d and goal to force a FG? No? Well, that happened before the TD.)

he did not! not before the refs called forward progress dead. call stands after review and a second goal line stand means the Big Red have a 7-6 halftime lead.

doing a good job clogging up the lanes in short yardage but are awful in the open field.
