Quote from: ugartegotta wonder who didn't vote for robertson on the blueline

If it's voted on by coaches, Pecknold.

Trotsky

I doubt it, on one of the pregame shows Pecknold was over the moon about both Robertson and Castagna.

I can't remember too many times when the All-ECAC and All-Rookie teams contained nobody from Harvard or Clarkson.

This, this, this. Usually a Crimson-fest, because they're all undeniable blue chippahs.

And, on a more detailed note, how does Union keep picking up these solitary fantastic blueliners? Prokop is nuts and reminds me so much of Gostisbehere.

*denotes unanimous selection

Ivy Coach of the Year has been awarded since 2016.  There have been just three recipients:

Mike Schafer (2018, 2019, 2020, 2024)

Ted Donato (2017, 2022, 2023)

Keith Allain (2016)
RichH

I'm not going to do the work here, but CU had an individual in the finalist (top 3) list for every ECAC award except Rookie of the Year. The only win was Ian Shane for the League Dryden Award.

Old friend Ben Tupker won the Sportsmanship award at Union, and Sullivan Mack was also in the final 3 up for that award.

Distinction without a difference.   46% vs 50%.

Bill's point still stands

I was just correcting the inaccuracy, not arguing the point

Cornell's Ian Shane is second-team All-America, behind BC freshman Jacob Fowler. But okay, it was the West second-team AA Kyle McClellan who won the Richter Award. Couple of AAs from lesser (in terms of post-season prowess) schools: RIT, Holy Cross. Quinnipiac's Colin Graf second team AA, was first team last year. The only Ivy player is Shane, the only ECAC players are Graf and Union D John Prokop. Only one international All-America (ie not Canada, USA) is Artyom Levshunov Michigan State freshman from Belarus.
