There is something very The Office about that photo.

Let's call him the love child of Michael and Toby.

Since you mentioned "The Office" I have to post this:

Swampy

Weighted quite a bit more on the Cornell v. Clarkson side, this article nonetheless deals with both North-Country teams: USCHO GAME OF THE WEEK: Close friends off the ice, Cornell's Schafer, Clarkson's Jones take rivalry to the ice Friday night.

I know, it's rather late. Sorry!

Nice quote from the /sun article:

Quote"I think it is a statement win," junior forward Cam Donaldson said. "We haven't won very many games against this team. We've only won one [before tonight] since I've been here and it was huge to finally get a win — especially on the road."

But terrible reporting:

QuoteThough the first period presented multiple opportunities for both teams, it ended scoreless. The competitors looked evenly matched, with equal numbers in the shots category and play happening on both ends of the ice.

Better complete quote from the USCHO article:

Quote"I think it is a statement win but of course, it's early in the season," said Donaldson, who scored the game-winning goal on a power play with 9:34 left in the third period. "It's good to stay undefeated (5-0-0), but we haven't won very many games against this team. We've only won one since I've been here, so it was huge to win get a win, especially on the road."

From CBR:

upprdeck

clarkson threw a bunch of long shots into traffic but didnt get many inside the dots all night. when they did Galajda made the saves that we needed.

we missed many of the shots we have been making inside the 15 ft range.  Those are the shots that if we make we will be solid as we get multiple of those each night so far this yr.  Its great when the long range shots/deflections go in but you cant make a living on those.

Aren't all regulation victories pulled off in the third period? ;-)

Clarkson did a great job keeping their sticks on the ice down low and making those in close chances harder to convert than they were against the lower quality opponents cornell has seen so far this season.
