How is BTN?

Not true HD, but god camera work.  Occasional crowd shots pointed to this being a scoreboard camera but if so it was worth the $5.

I side loaded the BTN+ app to my Fire Stick and it worked well considering I received a warning that it might not work during the installation.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

I thought it was generally pretty good. Some issues at first with sound. Also they cut away at stoppages a little quicker than I would have liked at times. Certainly worth $5 a game.

On a related note, the MSU announcers could not have been saying nicer things about the Cornell team. They clearly had a great deal of respect for Cornell. If only they could have stopped switching between calling Galajda "Michael" and "Matthew." (I thought they had it figured out after switching to Matt after a couple of Mike's, but they tricked me and went back to Mike later.  :)  )

And we're #3 in the pairwise!

upprdeck

decent game other than the penalties.    Some very dominant shifts the 2nd half of every period.   Some sloppy passing at times.  Got better as the game went on as they really didnt have much pressure the other 2 games to work on that.

I would have been happy with a split after last yr.   Now can we back it up.  5x5  we were much the better team.

not much free ice most of the game but we cycled very well.

Cop at Lynah

The game played out like one might expect for a 1st game.  Started out slow and fell behind 1-0.  From then on out CU played a good road game.  Got stronger as the game when on.  Let's see what they bring tomorrow night.

I like the fact that even though we had the lead, we outshot MSU in the 3rd period.

jkahn

We had a lot of trouble 5 on 5 early in the game, and only a lot of MSU penalties seemed to keep us even in the 1st period. However, we seemed to get our legs going in the 2nd and 3rd and played more confidently.  Malone was particularly impressive in some stickhandling battles for the puck along the boards, where he managed to come away with the puck.

i only watched the last three minutes or so but i was surprised at how much michigan state was carrying the puck but also how little they were able to do with it, even with the extra attacker. killing the last 10 seconds in the corner was sweet.
