And Denver tied, for NCAA purposes. (They actually lost in the second OT.)

How is Gideons polling us?

Robb

This is a strange feeling.  Normally after a win, and especially after a weekend sweep, I'm banging the refresh button on the PWR and KRACH pages like a coked out lab rat, just to see how much we climbed.  Right now, when we're #1 in everything, it almost takes some of the joy....nah, can't say it with a straight face.  THIS IS AWESOME!

Good chance we'll be #2 next week after Denver goes 0-1-1 and Notre Dame lost last night too

Trotsky

You never know.  They might throw NoDak all the way to 2.  Western Bias (TM).  ::whistle::

The Cornell men and women are now a combined 13-0-1 overall, 9-0-1 in conference.

Harvard's are 10-0-0 in each.

It's a Fish & Fowl World.

Well, between now and the end of Xmas break, we play Q, P-ton, BU, (13) Harvard, (11) tOSU, and (10) Providence/Army.

Hahvad plays RIP, (16) BC, BU, (<= 3) us, Colgate, and 2xASU.

We've got the tougher path, but H always has trouble with those pesky prols from the other side of the river.

Our SOS currently ranks 8th, while Sucks ranks 30th.

Hopefully, we'll see some separation.

Just win baby, just win!!

Signs that Harvard and Cornell will regress: the Crimson's shooting percentage (18.2%) is first in the country, and the Big Red's (15.8%) is second. Meanwhile, Harvard's save percentage (96.2%) is far and away number one in the nation. Cornell's (92.6%) is tied for tenth, though that is in line with Galajda's and Cornell's historical save percentages, and so may not regress much if at all.

The shooting % regression will be largely due to playing stronger competition. But I think both Harvard and Cornell will continue to have a number of 5 and 6 goal games against the lighter weights in the ECAC. I think there's a larger than usual gulf between the top 3 teams and the rest of the conference this season.

Robb

Why?  Just because 8 of the bottom 16 teams in KRACH are from the ECAC?
