Both Bardreau and Willcox back playing with the Phantoms.  Cole had a really pretty assist on the Phantoms' first goal tonight,  Their second goal came on a tip-in of a Willcox wrister from the point.  Both guys got a good amount of ice time.

Riley Nash scored his 6th goal of the season last night into an empty net, giving Boston the 4-1 win over Montreal. Riley has now eclipsed last season's point total (7-10-17 in 81 GP) with 6-15-21 in only 44 GP so far.

No, Dustin Brown never played for Cornell.  However he grew up in Ithaca, played youth hockey here and played for Ithaca High School. In 2003, he made it to the NHL playing for the LA Kings. He recently played his 1000th game for the Kings and they did a nice video to celebrate.

Went to the Phantoms' game tonight.  Both Bardreau and Willcox got the start.

Cole got one assist on the night and almost got into a fight after a Charlotte player kneed him.

I'd seen that on Twitter. I wasn't aware Buckles had been battling injuries.

Bardreau with a nice breakaway goal for the Phantoms last night.

Willcox started but did not play the third period...maybe he's hurt again.

Darn. Missed it since I am officially boycotting the NHL during the Olympics to protest its decision to not participate.Congratulations to Ryan.

Riley Nash has two goals (his 9th and 10th of the season) as Boston is up 3-2 on Calgary in the 3rd period.
