Riley Nash has been all over the ice for the Bruins in their last two games: 2 goals (including a shortie) and an assist in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Ottawa, and then another assist and several good chances to end it OT against Washington last night. The game was on Riley's stick as Boston's final chance in the shootout, but he failed to convert.

The assist last night was a beautiful spin pass from the corner: https://www.nhl.com/video/backes-nets-nashs-nice-dish/t-291067548/c-56192203

I'll see your broken incisors and raise you a premolar.

Congrats to Ben!

Is this the place to rant about how short-sighted the NHL is about allowing athletes to compete in the Olympics?
Of course, with the strict salary caps, the NHL is becoming more of an apprentice-master league with fewer in between athletes and so perhaps we ll see NHL-level competition in the Olympics anyway. Ben is a case in point.

DISCLAIMER: I don't actually know what I am talking about. Just annoyed at the NHL for their decision on the Olympics.

Likely we'll see a lot of KHL players, many of whom are ex-NHLer's too.  But I think it sucks that the NHL players aren't going.
