True, but for the prior 9 years (that's when they started ranking 20 teams) it's been 8, 7, 7, 7, 8, 10, 8, 7, & 9. That's an average of 7.9. So I think we may be more respected, and I'm happy.

Boy, that Red-White game was killer for the men; it dropped them three places.  Fortunately, the women came out of it all right.

As for Princeton getting 17, maybe their own coach/AD/whoever voted them fourth.

Is anybody besides me surprised we're still getting any votes at all? We may have a few decent players and a solid goalie, but we can't score, and we haven't won any games. Somehow, more coaches think we're worthy of votes than think Connecticut is, when UConn has beaten Quinnipiac and BC.

Casey: They're gonna cut Santori.
Natalie: The place kicker?
Casey: He's made eight field goal attempts in three games and has connected on a grand total of none of them.
Elliot: Oh, I've met him, he's a good guy.
Casey: He can't kick.
Natalie: He is a good guy.
Casey: He can't kick.
Natalie: He'll get picked up by another team.
Casey: No, he won't, you know why?
Elliot: Why?
Casey: Because he can't kick.
Dana: All right! Commercial one, then onto the dugout report.
Elliot: I saw him kick in practice.
Casey: At this level they pretty much want you to be able to kick in a game.

Autopilot voting. It surprised me too but then I remembered it was a poll in November and that's when I stopped caring enough to even post about it. But if *you're* posting... yeah, I had the same thought.
