I remember setting up a projector w/ a few friends and having a screening of the presidential debates in 2004. It was also pretty good for games and movies. I don't know if they allow them anymore but if you combine a projector (available to rent from the engineering library if not others) with some speakers and you can have a damn good time not letting other people around you sleep :-).

Since I had been one of the more publicly vocal critics of how the line went in '91, I was asked to help police the sleepout in Lynah in '92 (back when that was actually still a means, not an end).  I remember many of the Faithful doing a pretty good job not letting the people around them sleep after Lights Out by playing a rousing game of "Penis."  :)

Shocking.  Between this and the Nickerson subsection of the Harvard "Trouble in Paradise" thread this is getting very pathologically microbiological.

I heard today from the drum major of the marching band that they have a trip this weekend so the pep-band won't be appearing in The Line :(

Oof, that's rough. The pep band's appearance in the morning always brightened up my Line time.  We can only hope that Coach Schafer and the team come by.

Look, nobody could have foreseen that the surge protectors would have worked as well as they did.

My guess is that they will sell less than 1000 tickets this year. Take out the people who picked up "extra" numbers and some people who simply won't show up for the line, and they're looking at some serious empty spaces down at the F/G end.
