I have listened to most of this game on Westwood One and Dave Sims had a comment about 5 minutes into the game that went something like this:
"Stanford can just play dump and chase hockey, put a shot up off the boards, grab the rebound for an easy 2".

The band sounds great as do our fans; the "Let's Go Red" chant is loud and clear.

Cornell making a comeback to try and get it under 20, back-to-back 3's.

"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."

Stanford is playing mostly bench players now, so maybe the final score will look at least a little bit respectable.

Is the only way to dissect a major team like this a Princeton offense?

It would have been nice to see a couple of more threes go down in the first half...

I think Cornell could have hit a few in the first half, but it would have taken a much calmer approach.  If they can get back next year, maybe having this game under their belts will take away some of the nervous edge that showed today.

Of course "bench players" is a relative term.  The Stanford bench has nearly equaled Cornell's point total.

Looked like Stanford was too strong, and having too good a day.

If Cornell hypothetically repeated their RS next year, would they be a 14 again?

Stanford bench against the Cornell starters is "fresh legs and raw talent" versus "experience".

Good season, Red. Hope to the gang grow even more next year.

Bloodbath over. Lick your wounds, guys, because we're coming back next year. LGR!

OK band, get on that red eye. We need you here.

Well, that was certainly better than having to stay at home.  This should be a great experience for all of the players.  Even though it was against the Stanford bench, the team did start to settle down in the second half.

Maybe they can keep the deficit to only 15 next year.

Great season, guys.

Well, at least our 17 pts in the first half wasn't the "low score" of the day (thank you Kent State, 10 pts v. UNLV).

I think Coach Schafer needs to give Coach Donahue tips on recruiting twins (brothers will do too), especially tall twins. Maybe twins with a "fetish" for things made from Corning Glass?:-P

If they were wise, they already had reservations and a warmed-up bus.
