Josh Gorges of the Sharks was sent down to the AHL today.  He was their 6th/7th defenseman.  This move should shore up a lot more playing time for Doug, as he is probably now their regular 6th defenseman.

Anybody else find it interesting that Cam "has two-way potential, but he's for sure a defensive specialist and a good face-off guy" and "Chris has some pretty good offensive skills?"  Seems like that's the opposite of the time they spent on the hill.

Yeah, where he can play for a better coach that won't chew out his rookie goaltender after one bad period (after 3 stellar outings) and coddle his veteran netminder who has been pretty awful all season.
