Here's an article from the Globe:by Killer - Hockey
Re: Customer Service Win - The Crimson Ticket Office - 15 years ago
You're absolutely right: they really are good folks. In fact, the reminder that I put out there last week about the game being at 7:00, actually came about as a result of an e-mail I received from one of their staff, asking that I post it on eLynah.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Dartmouth-Harvard Roll Call - 15 years ago
LaJollaRedMe +3 ! (Including a Harvard grad who's never been to a hockey game before) In other words, a typical Harvard fan.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Dartmouth-Harvard Roll Call - 15 years ago
I'm in for both. +3 for Dartmouth, +5 for Harvard.by Killer - Hockey
Important Reminder: Cornell @ Harvard is 7:00 PM - 15 years ago
For anyone attending or watching the game at Harvard on Saturday, 2/14, remember that the game time is 7:00 PM. Because the game is being televised, there were several changes made to the schedule, and in fact, most of the tickets were printed with the incorrect time of 8:00 PM. The Harvard Ticket Office did send out a note with all tickets they mailed, alerting people about the correct time.by Killer - Hockey
Re: StubHub - 15 years ago
From Dan Shaughnessy's article about the Harvard-BU game in today's Boston Globe: Poor Harvard (how many times does one get to type those words?). Folks in The Yard just don't appreciate our local hockey festival. Like the opening of deer season in Minnesota and the Directors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, the Beanpot is one of those events appreciated only by local practitioners of the craft. Jim HylaKillerWould you guys give this up already? You're driving me crazy The whole point of the story was that the prescription was beer, not painkillers. BEER!!!! But you're learning something, aren't you? I wish that were the case. But the combination a few years back of a lot of cycling, a sore knee (yeah, probably that old rugby injury), diverticula, and Extra Strength Anacin taughby Killer - Hockey
Re: Yale & Brown Roll Call - 15 years ago
I'll be there with Mrs. Killer, Little Killer, and one more, doing our annual pilgrimage. We're in Section O, where we'll do our best to reduce the overall level of section-sucking.by Killer - Hockey

lynah80Thank you, I didn't know there were 6 grades of shoulder separation. So Advil is now the drug of choice. No more "take two aspirin and call me in the morning"? When I was playing rugby, I got my knee banged up in a late-November game. Knowing there was a hockey game that night, and that the training room would be staffed, I stopped in to have the knee examined. The trainerby Killer - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 RPI 0 (2nd period) - 15 years ago
Are they also in the 2nd period, or did that game start earlier? USCHO shows it as a 7:00 start, so I assume there's still a ways to go.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Union, Friday, Jan 16, TV Viewing locations - 15 years ago
BMacLet's say Sports Depot at 7pm on Friday, then! See you guys there. Is Sports Depot a done deal? I'm working in RI and will head from work towards Boston as long as it looks like we've got some critical mass. If not, I'm in Natick and do get the NHL Network, so if anyone is in my neck of the woods, needing an option, I could host a handful of people. Sorry, no HD yet, however.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Niagara Saturday Postgame - 15 years ago
Trotsky11-1-3 does not suck. Cornell has now opened up a decent lead in win%, courtesy of Princeton and Quinny shedding some points. .875 Cornell .750 Yale .667 Princeton .636 Dartmouth .636 Quinnipiac* * Trailing Union 3-2 in third. * Union wins 4-2by Killer - Hockey

Re: Bob Petrillose - 15 years ago
I sent this off to a '75 classmate of mine who lived a couple doors away in UH5 (btw, Dorm 4 still sucks, even if it isn't there). Hardly a night went by that he didn't hit the Hot Truck. After finals in December, he put in a Triple-Sui order for about 8, which he froze and took home to get him through intersession. He replied that he's going to make his annual donation to Cornell in Bob's memby Killer - John Spencer Is Dead
Re: St. Lawrence 0 @ Cornell 1, 2nd Period - 15 years ago
Speaking of Harvard, they're down 2-1 early in the 2nd period. Harvard scored on a 5x3 PP in the 1st, but couldn't get anything going on a 5 minute opportunity. Harvard announcers have been saying that when UND is down a man, it looks about even out there.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Riley Nash Invited to Canada's WJC Development Camp - 15 years ago
If it goes to the 5th, he also misses UMass.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Olympic Ice, Not UND - 15 years ago
dragonfanTo me it looks alot bigger,it could be the camera angle.Behind the net there is alot more room, the neutral zone might be smaller. We thought the same thing about it being big ice, just after they'd done the National Anthem. The view from the camera looking across ths ice made it look friggin' wide as hell. Didn't sit well. We immediately thought of that Minnesota game in 2005. Thenby Killer - Hockey
Re: Signs/Cheers/Chants for North Dakota - 15 years ago
sah67GoonJDeafvThis is just funny. Of course, it also means they have an annoying horn, just like Clarkson. The Ralph also fires off fire works type explosions after a goal. Oh yeah? Well Harvard sacrifices a small puppy every time they score at home...top that. Probably because puppies are easier to find than fans.by Killer - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ NoDak, Friday, Nov. 28, 2008: Boston - 15 years ago
I just confirmed that the Sports Depot in Allston gets the NHL Network. Any interest in getting a Boston crowd together?by Killer - Hockey
Re: Cornell on TV - 15 years ago
Josh '99andyw2100Killer Otherwise, I guess I have to hightail it back home Friday afternoon. I don't think that will get me a DQ, but it might earn me an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty or a Game Misconduct. But hey, priorities are priorities. LGR! Or you could pay $10 for a month of the Sioux Sports Network (or whatever they call it) and watch both games online.I'm thinking, "Merryby Killer - Hockey
Re: Up to #12 - 15 years ago
Princeton moves up a notch to #7, now with three 1st place votes. And Air Force (Air Force?) hangs onto its lone 1st place vote, moving up to #11. This weekend should tell a lot about the 2 remaining undefeated teams - may one of them, according to its tradition, go down in flames. LGR!by Killer - Hockey
Re: Cornell on TV - 15 years ago
Hadn't really thought about this before, but I see potential trouble ahead for Friday night's UND game... We're staying at my in-laws' place in RI for the weekend. Yes, they do get the NHL channel, but they only have one TV. I'm going to have to lobby everyone else to go to the movies or something, and leave me free with the game. Otherwise, I guess I have to hightail it back home Fridayby Killer - Hockey
