Mrs. Killer just got home and is trying to explain what she picked up for us from the Thai restaurant. Somehow, dinner isn't foremost on my radar screen at this moment.by Killer - Hockey

Another slashing call against Harvard. Starrett this time. But then we give it right back. Ugh! Hooking on Brendon Nash.by Killer - Hockey

You're right on both fronts. In this week's poll, Princeton and Air Force each get a first place vote: What is this world coming to?by Killer - Hockey

Re: Lynah East - 15 years ago
sah67Jacob '06Speaking of Lynah East, has anyone who ordered tickets for the Lynah East game actually received them in the mail yet? When I ordered mine, the ticket office staffer mentioned they wouldn't be mailed out until December or January. That sounds familiar. I think the guy told me something about them going out a month or so before the game.by Killer - Hockey

It's what the pigs in Spain drink to give them that special quality.by Killer - John Spencer Is Dead
Re: jersey - 15 years ago
FWIW, in 2005 Bill's e-mail went out on December 7th, and in 2006 it was November 30th. I wasn't in the market last year, so I don't know the date (which you also might interpret to mean that he only sends it to current year inquirers). Regardless, judging by the follow-up postings those days, once you get the e-mail, unless you don't care what number you get, don't sit on your duff waiting forby Killer - Hockey

Cornell @ Quinnipiac 11/8 - Seating Locations - 15 years ago
I'm about to purchase tickets online for the game. Options look limited at this point, but I thought I'd check to see where other Cornell fans might be sitting. The Quinnipiac seating chart shows the visitors' band (will ours be there?) in section 107, but no tickets available in that section. I can get some close by in 105, which is also next to the Quinnipiac bench, but at the end where thby Killer - Hockey
Re: Debate analysis - 15 years ago
Matt Damon posed a question that I'd also like to hear answered, namely, just how old does Palin think the world actually is? I agree with him that we should not entrust the nuclear codes to someone whose understanding of science somehow allows for a world that is between six and twenty thousand years old, and who wants intelligent design to be given significant (maybe even equal) weight in scieby Killer - John Spencer Is Dead
Re: Debate analysis - 15 years ago
Just wondering, what with Sarah Palin's "hockey mom", and I guess what can best be called "soon-to-be-hockey-mom-in-law" credentials, does this thread risk being the first to be split by Beeeej and moved to the Men's Hockey forum?by Killer - John Spencer Is Dead

Re: Cornell vs Harvard Tickets @ Harvard on sale Sept 24, 10:00am - 15 years ago
I have it blocked out on my calendar at work, so no one thinks I'm free at that point and tries to schedule any meetings with me. A few years ago, though, I couldn't get through on the phone for an hour, had to go to an 11:00 meeting, and when I came back, was lucky to get some SROs. Maybe I'll extend my "appointment" an extra hour, just to be sure.by Killer - Hockey

It's a tradition, going back at least to the early 70s and Jim Leonard, who basically owned the Heps triple jump during his career.by Killer - Other Sports
Re: NCAA lacrosse title weekend - good outcome - 15 years ago
Can't say I'm a big Hopkins fan, having watched a few painful games against the Red, but I was certainly in their corner today. We cheered their every goal and cringed at the late-game turnovers. Those last few seconds were nerve-wracking, but somehow they held on. Buh-bye, Blue Devils. And come Monday, I'm switching back to the upstate NY side. Go 'Cuse. Wait, I'll be in Spain, so...Vamoby Killer - Other Sports
