Re: Cornell 4 Dartmouth 3 Game 1 (Friday) Final (2OT) - 12 years ago
...Except for the voice-over exclaiming (Cornell was) "way off-side." Ha ha ha. Since the LW was invisible on the video, the video clip itself is inconclusive at best. Nonetheless, a win is a win and I will take it.by CU at Stanford - Hockey
Re: Yale 2 at Cornell 1 (OT) postgame - 14 years ago
Why is that we always get into a funk right as we are set to play Sucks? It was painful to watch at Bright Arena last time around. I am hoping that this coming Friday is not going to be repeat of last season. LET'S GO RED!by CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: Alumni in the pros - January 2010 - 14 years ago
I was at the Jan 4th SJ Sharks game vs. L.A. Kings. Ugly game for the Sharks. The only bright spot for me was indeed Doug Murray's goal in the 3rd period. He rifled that sucker home! Player of the Month (Dec 2009) continued his hot streak, no doubt....by CU at Stanford - Hockey

When was last time that both men's and women's hockey were ranked in the Top 10? And the last time that women's team outranked men's? Go Big Red!by CU at Stanford - Hockey
Re: Alumni In The Pros - October 2009 - 14 years ago
It is noteworthy to point out that all three Cornellians were former captains of the Big Red hockey team: Doug Murray '03 Ryan Vesce '04 Matt Moulson '06 All captained the team in their senior year. How awesome is that?!by CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: HARVARD SUCKS - 14 years ago
Harvard sucks. Guess what they are doing for freshman orientation? They show them "Love Story"-- Showing of the Oscar-winning ultimate romance about a Harvard hockey player and a Radcliffe musician who fall in love. Provided with Crimson Key's own live, witty, and deliciously irreverent commentary, this freshman tradition can't be missed! $3. Proceeds benefit Crimson Key Society.by CU at Stanford - Hockey

I do want to give a public shoutout to Joanna and Justin (MBA '99) for our tickets to Bright last night. Nice meeting Bâby Grace! How come the Cornell Pep Band did not play the love theme from Love Story last night? We were at Harvard, on Valentine's Day, so it would have seem perfect. But, no Love Story, hardly the O Canada (by Cornell fans), and, on top of that, Harvard totally screby CU at Stanford - Hockey

0-7 in power play vs. Harvard That don't make us look like a contender for ECAC Don't forget, this Harvard team last night played their third game in one week, no? We should have the refresher legs, and maybe we did. The SOG count was deceiving in a sense that yes Cornell generated a lot of shots but most of them were not going to go into net in the first place, whereas each of Harvard's Pby CU at Stanford - Hockey

Murray-Moulson-Brown - 15 years ago
I believe there was one shift in which all three former Ithaca residents were on the ice at the same time. Douglas Murray had a good night. Late in the 3rd, he put a hard shot on goal from about 10 feet inside the blue line. Dustin Brown, early in the 1st, had a brilliant moment of stick-handling that got the TV broadcasters very excited and impressed. Moulson was on the Kings top penalty-kby CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: Samaritan Cornell players - 16 years ago
Eliot was "from" Australia. Doug Murray is a Swede. I am proud that Cornell hockey team has been international beyond Canadian. Besides, what is wrong with having Canadian student-athletes? Schafe is from Canada and thank goodness for that!by CU at Stanford - Hockey

Re: HARVARD SUCKS - 16 years ago
I personally think we can chat "Safety School" in Albany in reference to the Stanford-Cornell basketball game the day before. Having worked at Stanford for nearly 8 years, I can honestly say that many Cardinal students can say that Harvard IS a safety school for them. Oh, and Harvard still SUCKS, safety school or not.by CU at Stanford - Hockey
