Army almosts get a good chance right as the buzzer sounds. 3-0 end of 1st. Overall, much better passing and coordination on the PP and in the offensive zone overall. Pukoluk taking alot of nice shots.by French Rage - Hockey

Cop at Lynah Wrote: A quick look at Friday's box scores revealed a high number of penalties called per game. I know it's early and they are probably trying to send the message, but there is no way these games can have any kind of flow to it with the number of penalties being called. Cornell MUST go to a quarterly system: fall, winter, spring, and summer semesters. Like Dartmouth. You have to do one of each over your four (or so) years, the rest is up to you. If you have a reason not to, like say athletics, I suppose you get a waiver. Or take advantage of the system. Stanford has quarters, so everyone should transfer out there. Including the hockey team. Re: Reason #586 that Schafer rocks - 19 years ago
Hmm, I don't ever recall saying he was the greatest coach ever and infallible. The BG/OSU weekend wasnt the greatest in memory, but the team structure was still coalescing and we were up against western teams with a different playing style than Schafer and the team were used to. The which players on which lines arguments is something pretty much everyone is going to disagree on, so maybe your cby French Rage - Hockey

I belive he was too old this year, and this will be too old next year. He missed his chance earlier when he would have been the right age, but he can still sign as a free agent later if offered.by French Rage - Hockey

I don't know if this has been posted anywhere, but it looks like we have a new recruit for next year. And he's a 6'5" 220-lb defenseman, so I think that might cancel out Topher Scott a little. I couldnt find a profile on his team page, but it's interesting to note that other alums from his team (Notre Dame of the SJHL) include LeCavalier, Brind'Amour, CuJo, and our own Kent Manderville.by French Rage - Hockey
