Jim Hyla Unfortunately the Women fall to Harvard as well. It will be interesting to see how that mixes up the next poll. Sad that we lost a spot to Clarkson. Glad we'll have a chance at them this weekend.by bnr24 - Hockey

David Harding bnr24 As far as the play being blown dead, the whistle was definitely after the goal was in net, at the point when the team was celebrating, so it had to be intent. CornellBigRed.com A great effort by Greg Miller set up another Big Red chance right in front of the Colgate net as he made his way to the front of the net and jammed it on goal. CUrafter jtn27 redice Al DeFlorio flyersgolf Where is Esposito and Gotovets?According to College Hockey News, Espo "had a setback in practice this week." This is what I heard at the game Saturday: Gotovets: ankle (stepped on a puck in practice) Espo: Shoulder ("setback" would lead one to think it's his ankle again. I think shoulder is a new problem). So to sum up, Esposby bnr24 - Hockey

semsox I didn't get a chance to see Saturday's game live, but the archive up on-line looks pretty much the same as Friday's game did. Was it much better quality than what this archive looks like or am I just losing it? It actually was much better Saturday. The women's game was awful quality video for me, but the men's game looked much more high quality in real time. (Admittedly, I haven't loby bnr24 - Hockey

Anyone up for a laugh? Here is my favorite excerpt: Messa Rink is small, 37 years old and, for most fans, without chair-backs and cup-holders, let alone high-def replay monitors and waiter service.by bnr24 - Hockey

redice jtn27 redice jtn27 jtn27 Beeeej jtn27 1) Who cares what there is to do other than watch the games? You'll be there to see Cornell win the ECAC Championship, not see the sights. css228 As someone who wasn't alive when the miracle happened, I have to say I'm really excited that we're going to be in LP my senior year if we make the ECAC Final Four. However I'm glad it starts in my senior year because I really don't want to make that trip twice. Well that and I want to be making another trip in the general direction of AC in early April, and not just to see the folks. Frozeby bnr24 - Hockey

I noticed the exclusion of RPI...Given that they have as many players attending as we do, it doesn't quite make sense. Interesting that there are no CHA teams, only HEA and WCHA rounding out the remaining spots as well as two from the CWHL. I would actually love if Quinnipiac hosted the 2014 Frozen Four. It would be nice given that the previous locations since they began in '01 include: Minby bnr24 - Hockey

Aaron M. Griffin Trotsky The far more important fact is that Cornell now has only one chance to win in Atlantic City. Given that Cornell has won in every ECAC host city, that makes 2012-13 a must win season! That's what I have been saying for some time now. 13 in '13. Agreed! And in case anyone cares about the hotel situation (which it seems all of you do...) a quick check on Priceline reby bnr24 - Hockey

jtn27 Ben I'm going to guess that Anna Zorn is related to Liz Zorn '10. Also good to see that we'll have a full complement of defensemen for next year. And I'm going to guess that Taylor Woods is related to Tiger Woods. Let's hope she's as good as scoring as he is (using different senses of the word, of course). Wow. That is just inappropriate. My only disagreement is that for freshman, I'd have chosen Ryan over Ferlin. Ferlin might have the numbers, but he hardly plays like a team player. Ryan has solid numbers and played for the team rather than for show for himself as it looked to me like Ferlin did.by bnr24 - Hockey

Jim Hyla Aside from thanking ugarte profusely, I've stayed out of this debate. Both sides have good points. In a perfect world we would fund all sports to their fullest, male or female. We would have full opportunities for men and women in all sports in which they would like to participate. So, can we agree we don't have that ideal? Without that ideal, we have seen two sytems.
