Re: Special "The Weekly Cowbell" On Friday Night - 17 years ago
BeeeejA radio show at midnight on Friday night is a good way to get people to come early to a hockey game at 8pm on Friday night? Oh....I didn't read closely enough. So it is Friday night. In the case, we better win.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Special "The Weekly Cowbell" On Friday Night - 17 years ago
Sweet. Seems like the perfect way to pump some energy into people and get them to come early Maybe this is wishful thinking.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. Hahvahd: when to arrive? - 17 years ago
I hope everyone gets there for warmups, or at least a sizeable amount of people. I also hope there are some nice signs and new taunts. Everyone who has friends who go to games and aren't the most dedicated of fans, get these people to come early. For some motivation, remind them that the game is going to be nationally broadcast. I hope people don't take this game any more lightly this year thby imafrshmn - Hockey

The Brown announcer is making it seem like Davenport is standing on his head...I don't actually have an idea what's happening.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Weekend Not Yet a Sellout - 17 years ago
Athletics should set a cutoff date for students to pick up season tickets and then sell what remains to the general public/students as day-of-game seats. They'd make more money doing that anyway, and at least some townies who've been looking for seats can enjoy the games.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: New Forum Features - 17 years ago
can we get avatars on posts and not just profiles? maybe that's not such a good idea.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: CNNSI On Campus Article - The Line Dance - 17 years ago
Chris '03calgARI '07Dpperk29the best seats are in the top rows... in a rink as small as lynah, the higher the better, especially with the angle of the seats, you are so close even when you are seated in the top row. In four years in B, I've been towards the top, towards the bottom and in the middle. Far and away the best place to sit in terms of experience and atmosphere is smack dab in the miby imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Cornell 11 York 1 - 17 years ago
Jordan 04Does our reportedly bad defensive play mean that the goalies were playing well to keep them off the board? Or was York just not converting? I'd say it was moreso York's inability to capitalize and the fact that they didn't take a lot of quality shots.by imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Reminder - Hockey Ticket Preregistration - 17 years ago
Cactus12Are you actually sure they gave both zero and one equal chances of being drawn for the first digit? I was under the impression they just chose one of the full, preregistered numbers at random (not using a digit by digit system). Or alternatively they could have had 8 zeroes and 4 one's, for example in their drawing pool for the first digit. They chose digit by digit. A lot easier to doby imafrshmn - Hockey
Re: Reminder - Hockey Ticket Preregistration - 17 years ago
ebilmesimafrshmnIn case anyone was wondering, the drawing method was not perfectly fair. The total number of entries in the undergrad line was 1674. They chose the starting number digit by digit. This would have been fair if there were 1999 entries. However, when there should have been a greater chance of starting the line with a number below 1000 than above, their system gave both numbers aby imafrshmn - Hockey
