Discussions about the Cornell men's and women's hockey teams
Re: Cornell at St. Lawrence post-game thread (2/11/06) - 18 years ago
The officiating was that bad? I couldn't tell from the webcast, but the St. Lawrence announcers were worthless.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 4 SLU 4 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
Crap! First, I think we picked up a penalty, and then Pesony came up with a big save on a breakaway.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 SLU 4 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
And a penalty on SLU(t). The announcers flipped out. 4x4 now.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 SLU 4 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
And we take another penalty. Announcers wanted a penalty shot. Down 1 with 8 or so minutes left, are we better off with the penalty shot, so it doesn't waste time?by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 SLU 3 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
Penalty coming up, think it's on Cornell...by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 SLU 3 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
To quote them... "Oh man... Abbott fell down there, and there's going to be a slashing call, PP for Cornell coming up." I hate these guys.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 SLU 3 (2nd period) - 18 years ago
According the announcers... SLU keeps missing wide open chances and shots. Anyone think some of these are saves and defense? Or are they simply missing open nets?by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 SLU 3 (2nd period) - 18 years ago
Was that another penalty on us? Think so...by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 SLU 3 (2nd period) - 18 years ago
These announcers are horrible. You can tell Cornell scores because they get quiet, instead of them announcing the game.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 3 (2nd period) - 18 years ago
Did... did we just score? These announcers are awful. I think we did!by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
They do suck. I heard the puck go "right under McKee!" Anyone know what that was? It wasn't a goal..by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
And we get called for a crosscheck. It sounded like someone almost scored a goal there, too. Anyone know if it was us or them?by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
According to the announcers, we're crosschecking and doing all sorts of bad things. No calls.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
PP over, but we sounded a bit better, I think. Hard to tell.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
Penalty coming up. I think it's on St. Lawrence, and I think it's a hold. Can't say much more.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
That didn't sound like a great power play...by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
Penalty on St. Lawrence, hooking. Not sure on who.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
Any idea who we have playing tonight? Someone mentioned Gleed wasn't on Gametracker, but he's on the ice (and the game isn't on Gametracker)by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 1 (1st period) - 18 years ago
SLU. Penalty on Bitz for... something. I have no idea what, I can't hear anything on the broadcast. Though I can hear our fans and band well.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 SLU 0 (1st period) - 18 years ago
Sounded like McKee made a save, then SLU put in the rebound.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: SLU net radio? - 18 years ago
Is gametracker up for this game? Someone mentioned it, but I can't find a link.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 Clarkson 3 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
Leroux wasn't making that many amazing saves at the end of the Princeton game. It sounds like Leggio is making incredible stops.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 Clarkson 3 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
According to gametracker, we're dead even on faceoffs. Feels much worse...by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 Clarkson 2 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
Is it just me, or are we not dominating faceoffs as well as we normally do?by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Colgate Postgame 2/4 - 18 years ago
Someone complained about that play where Dekanich went down? Sawada lost his stick, Dekanich didn't make any sort of move to get out of the way when Sawada grabbed it and so he went down. It definitely wasn't intentional. Couldn't that be interference on Dekanich for preventing Sawada from getting his equipment?by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Colgate Postgame 2/4 - 18 years ago
Talking about classless responses... When Glover got up after getting hurt in the 1st, (He played the rest of the game) Colgate fans booed. When whoever it was who got hurt on Colgate got up in the 3rd in Lynah, we cheered. He was hurt worse, down a while, but still.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Yale - Cornell post-game - 18 years ago
A lot of Yale's physical dominance came from their getting away with crosschecks and hits from behind. That being said, a lot of it came from them just hitting us hard.by Dafatone - Hockey
Re: Time For Some New Lines - 18 years ago
Mugford-Abbott-Sawada need to stay together, in my opinion. As far as I can tell, they simply don't give up goals. And they've some offensive power as well. I like the sound of Moulson-Pegs-Bitz. Moulson needs a good passer/creater to set him up, and those tried so far haven't worked. Other than that... I like kennedy and barlow together. Kindret's been good with them as well, but I don'tby Dafatone - Hockey
