ajh258 I did some more digging last night and found a better bear. As long as we don't make more than 500,000 prints, I think we can use the bear royalty-free. I'm attaching the image and here is the altered design on CustomInk Btw, I'm a "he" awesome.by The Rancor - Hockey

HockeyMan nr53 There's a thread over on the hockeysfuture.com board about Lindstrom saying that Murray should be invited to play on the Swedish Olympics team. Seems like fairly good praise though I haven't read the article they reference since I don't read Swedish... The article says that Lidstrom wants Murray on the team for his hard-nosed, physical play, which, Lidstrom stresses, is especby The Rancor - Hockey

Re: Ithaca eating suggestions, pre-game? - 15 years ago
If you don't mind driving a little beyond the commons, The Pines is great for a big group. Call ahead and you'll have downstairs to yourself. great suggestion for a large group, the glenwood pines! we used to have our year end hockey banquets there. the food is good, beer for the parents, skee ball-bowling and very hockey friendly. CALL AHEAD (like the day before at a minimum) if you haveby The Rancor - Hockey

Pokulok listed as 'inactive' on the SC Stingray's website. I guess I am ready to come to terms that he is totally completely finished. Sorry, Sasha. Tough break (no pun intended).by The Rancor - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ North Dakota 11/28 Post-Game - 15 years ago
I thought they looked exciting in the first period. The power Play looked great, to the point of me cheering at the TV. then it sort of... evaporated. Embarrassing, to say the least. a decisive win is important for the team tonight.by The Rancor - Hockey

Leneveu - 15 years ago
Will David Leneveu challenge Jonas Hiller for a backup spot in Anaheim this season (assuming JS Giguere is healthy all season)? Is he done, or does he still have 'gas in the tank'? It was a good move for him to go to the Rangers. Is Anaheim known for giving a guy like him a shot, or will he be given the same treatment he got in Phoenix?by The Rancor - Hockey

Jacob '06On Vs. during the Habs Bruins game they were talking about the crowd taunting Thomas. They said they asked Thomas and he said he heard worse in his college days at Vermont. The announcer then says "yeah they heard bad stuff at places like Harvard and Cornell Daren Eliot." How the heck did Harvard get mentioned in there? Would've been nice if Eliot reminded them that Harvard hasby The Rancor - Hockey

Right. Howard will miss 3 weeks with a broken pinky finger. McKee still has not played. Does anyone expect him to get in a game?by The Rancor - Hockey
McKee to Grand Rapids (AHL) - 16 years ago
NHL.com reports that David McKee has been lent to Grand Rapids of the AHL, form Phoenix of the ECHL. a good promotion, yes? By the way, why is a team in Phoenix in the East Coast Hockey League?by The Rancor - Hockey
Re: Alumni in the Pros - McKee - 16 years ago
MCKEE IN CONTROL: In his last three starts, goalie Dave McKee has stopped 143 of 151 shots, including a career-high and RoadRunners’ ECHL record 57 last Tuesday, to post a 2.59 goals against average and a sizzling .947% save percentage since Nov. 29. The 57 saves were two shy of a personal-best for McKee who turned aside 59 shots in a 1-0 triple overtime loss while playing for Cornell Universityby The Rancor - Hockey

Sucks! No, for real. The ECAC preview each week all but does not mention Cornell hockey. All they can muster to say about the team is that they might play this week and are "inconsistant... umm everything" Bryan Sullivan has anti-cornell bias!by The Rancor - Hockey
