Discussions about the Cornell men's and women's hockey teams
audio - 18 years ago
In past years we had gotten the Realplayer sportspass (or whatever it's called) to listen to the audio online. Is that still going to be available this year, or is it all through All-Access?by dbilmes - Hockey

Re: Cornell vs. Minnesota post game thread - 19 years ago
As disappointing as it was to watch O'Byrne seemingly give away the game, you really can't be too hard on him. Cornell had chances in the 2nd and then early in OT that could have easily lead to goals, and the way Minnesota played in the 1st we could have been out of the game after one period. So, we've got to be happy with the season--winning ECACs and then going out showing we can play with Minnby dbilmes - Hockey

Watch Sunday's game in Connecticut - 19 years ago
Billy Bean's in Danbury, CT, has promised us at least one of their 13 TVs for Sunday's game. It's located on 80 White Street, not far from Exit 5 of Interstate 84. Children may come as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. I've never been to a place, but a friend of mine has gone there to watch football games on their satellite feed and says "it's a quiet place. I even tookby dbilmes - Hockey
Re: OT LAX: Cornell lacrosse at Yale - 19 years ago
Since I wasn't able to find a place to watch the hockey game on TV, I attended the lacrosse game at Yale. It was the first CU lacrosse game I'd seen in many years, and it was an impressive win for the Big Red, albeit against a mediocre opponent, which frequently gave the ball away with sloppy passes, etc. Our offense and passing was too quick for Yale's defense, and our long stick defensemen scorby dbilmes - Hockey

Re: Whats going on.....TV??? - 19 years ago
O.K...so just to clarify, the Saturday game is live on DirecTV on Altitude alternate, with the Sunday (hopefully) game live on ESPNU. Both channels are available through the DirecTV SportsPack, which is $12 a month. Please correct me if I'm wrong.by dbilmes - Hockey
Re: TV still unknown - get the game on TV!! - 19 years ago
Hey, I sent an email a couple days ago to ESPN asking them to televise the Cornell - Ohio State game, and this is what I got back: Thank you for your e-mail. That game will air on ESPNU which is available nationally through DIRECTV. ESPNU is a basic cable network... Sincerely, ESPN Viewer Response So, unless someone made a mistake, the Saturday game is on ESPNU! And, if anyone is inby dbilmes - Hockey
