Well, quite obviously, with any band that comes to Lynah, you limit them in retaliation or let them bring as many as they want. *Now*, if the Brownies come, you limit them to 25; if Yale comes, you limit them to 25. (Make sure to notify their band leaders this next week of restrictions that would be imposed on them should they decide to make the trip. Even though, at the moment, Quinnipiac is subbing for RPI, I must say that I find the current ECAC leaderboard to be very reassuring after years of strangeness: Top half: Colgate, Cornell, St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Harvard Bottom: Princeton, Brown, Union, Yale, Dartmouth Welcome back, Clarkson and St. Lawrence.by Scersk '97 - Hockey

Bah, bottle throwing is for ninnies. My best/worst memory of Lynah at near riot is from 1995, when, after a 2-2 tie with accompanying goal dislodging and falling on the puck on their part, RPI players acted like they had just won the damn Stanley Cup. There was gesturing and throwing of sticks. I don't remember any bottle or garbage throwing by the fans; instead, there was this bizarre crushby Scersk '97 - Hockey

I think the day that KRACH becomes well-defined (without any hand-waving) should be celebrated each year. Call it "Anti-Poll Day" or "KRACHmas" or "KRACHivus" or something. There should be feasting and the watching of hockey. There could be a "KRACH King," "Ms. KRACH," and a "Bâby New KRACH." "St. KRACHnik" could beby Scersk '97 - Hockey

When Cornell has a particularly effective shorthanded unit ('96, '05, '06) that's a threat to score, I've always liked the idea of a "power play" becoming a "power kill." It chants well: "Pow-er kill! Pow-er kill!" (Much better than, say, "Pe-nal-ty Play!" ) And, of course, never forget the taunting for a goal: "Short-hannn-ded! Short-hannn-dby Scersk '97 - Hockey

Bah, I predict that two losses will "win" (tie for) the championship for only the third time in the history of the League. Let's go parity! After a few years of getting indignant about these scheduling issues, I am beginning to believe that they are here to stay. Thankfully, a three-peat seems unlikely. Three senior D this year indicates that their goalies might be seeing a bit more rubber next year.
