Re: Any word on McKee's nagging injury? - 18 years ago
Best line from Lazy Sunday They be callin' me Aaron Burr by the way I'm dropping Hamiltons.. Or something to that effectby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Emily Hughes - 18 years ago
Fairly sure it was the 00-01 season. I think she skated in lieu of the ill fated subway challenge that nightby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Grade Inflation - 18 years ago
most (if not all) majors in the arts college doesn't have a fixed latin honors distribution. you would need to write a thesis to get latin honors. if no one writes one, theoretically no one graduates with latin honors...by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: In case ELF crashes again... - 19 years ago
anyone know why it crashed yesterday? too many visitors?by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: 2/5: Cornell 1 Colgate 1 (1st) - 19 years ago
I agree Chris this guy is a huge homer and unbelievably difficult to listen toby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: New Recruit - 19 years ago
Does this mean we'll have two T. Davenport's (although one will be in net) and two C. Abbott's? Let confusion reignby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: new cornell "logo" - 19 years ago
ahh identity, logo, emblem, insignia, i get them all confused. big red box stunk, this one seems a definite improvement imho, although i dont get the A.D. part. does anyone think it was B.C.?by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Hobey and Humanitarian - 21 years ago
I'm not so sure why people think Lenny not getting the Hobey is such an outrage. It seems like it was a tossup between Lenny and Sejna, and its really tough for voters to see how Lenny would be in the absence of of the defense. Yes, you can go purely by the stats, but they are in the context of the stellar Cornell D. When Ryan Miller won it, I'm not sure Michigan State's D was as good, and as aby littleredfan - Hockey

Its not working for me either....by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Underhill recalled - 21 years ago
abbott fan...I hope you're joking about the hair. that photograph is well known to be the picture Cornell had of him from early in his time here when he did have hair. his team before photoshopped that picture and put the team's jersey, and now the providence bruins are doing the same...so it is def not a recent picby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Brown spoilers - 21 years ago
Oh, Blaeser and Moy also correctly predict the score of the Harvard game, 5-3. Thats something....by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Brown spoilers - 21 years ago
For anyone who saw the TV broadcast, what did you think of the black and white intro right before the game started of the Cornell players saying, "It's about ..." (ie. winning the ECAC championship, hard work, etc.). Later they had it as a commercial with just Hornby and McRae and players from other teams (ie. Moore). I thought it was real cheesyby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Brown spoilers - 21 years ago
Blaeser/Moy's prediction: Semifinals Cornell defeats Brown, 2-0 DAMN they're good! That is absolutely ridiculous how few shots Brown got off. It makes you wonder about LeNeveu's departure if the defense is really going to take a hit next year with the departure of the senior class. If you think about his decision, he might be able to leave right now at the top, what with getting so much natioby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Brown spoilers - 21 years ago
0-0 at the end of 1st. I ran out of fingers to count the number of powerplays Danis 8 saves, LeNeveu 1 save.by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Ryan O'Byrne - 21 years ago
Chris Heisenberg's page has O'Bryne listed under Cornell, though he didn't include it as part of his updates on the top anywhere in the past few days. Hopefully this is better proof that he's really coming...by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Vesce ECAC Player of the Week - 21 years ago
Has Lenny been named ECAC goaltender of the week at all this year? I think its interesting he gets very few of those accolades (probably because he's never forced to make those huge 45 save performances or anything), yet he's IMNSHO the best, most consistent netminder in the ECAC...by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Quantifications - 21 years ago
With regard to the new friedman wrestling facility, i'm not sure how much choice athletics got in the matter. Apparently Friedman, the former wrestler and now big donor, solely wanted to fund a new great wrestling center. Maybe its just a coincidence, but at the same time the place opened, we're also one of the top wrestling teams in the country. So yeah, its doing good and maybe even helping reby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: USCHO Front Page Article on Murray - 21 years ago
Alan: how do you figure? He was an All-American first team last year, Hobey finalist, has been written up on uscho a fair amount, and seems to get a lot of attention from other teams. Though he's not on ESPN, I think he is known in the college hockey world (maybe less so in the West). There prob is an intimidation factor, but there probably is also the point that teams have a target to go after,by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Cornell Class of 2007 - 21 years ago
I seem to remember that maybe Cam Abbott was also in the midterm CSS rankings last year, and apparently now he's dropped out completely. It does look like a good class, but just like my stock portfolio, its just on paper. Lets wait until they get to Ithaca...by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Underhill Recalled to Providence - 21 years ago
Well besides the photoshop....when was the last time he even had hair???? But its funny, whenever a player gets traded to another team (especially in baseball), on ESPN they'll always photoshop his old pic and put on the cap/jersey of his new team on. I remember my sports-idiot brother once asking how they took a picture with him so quickly in his new uniform if they just finalized some trade laby littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Final Score: Princeton 2 Harvard 1 - 21 years ago
Biggest ECAC upset of the year? Its got my vote...by littleredfan - Hockey

Re: Everglades Impressions - 21 years ago
Very true. I mean, Schafer was a defenseman, so I'm sure he's got a lot to teach and what better way to develop than playing for a really defensive oriented team. Plus, if you look at the way Murray has developed (through his own efforts plus great coaching), O'Byrne could hope to see similar things. I'm hoping...by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: Everglades Impressions - 21 years ago
Does the loss mean we lost the battle for that highly touted recruit who was choosing between Maine, Cornell, and someone else? (i can't remember if I read about him here or on uscho)by littleredfan - Hockey
Re: 13/30 Polls - 21 years ago
13/30, huh? Does this mean I'll have to push my new years plans back a month? Not a bad drop considering the two losses, albeit to ranked teams.by littleredfan - Hockey
