Re: Are the games in Florida on Redcast - 12 years ago

Re: Are the games in Florida on Redcast - 12 years ago
Wow, no wonder why Black Bear Nation is calling for Tim's head! 6-1? Ouch.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Are the games in Florida on Redcast - 12 years ago
For what it's worth, b2livetv has the Cornell game listed, though no link. They are broadcasting the Maine game now, so there may be hope. (I unfortunately was not able to make it down, oh well...)by RedAR - Hockey

Anyone know of cheap flights from the NYC area to Fort Myers or nearby airport. Some last minute trip planning, but flights I found are $650+.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Other Regional Scores March 27 - 14 years ago
Thank you Yale for bringing some respect to the ECAC. Thank you RIT for eliminating UHN.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Why the hate/dislike of Cornell? - 14 years ago
How about Klump's comment at the end of the ECAC blog today on USCHO? Jason Klump: Cornell fans can't win with class, as usual. Chanting "winning team, losing team" as they point back and forth.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. Union - 14 years ago
If I'm not mistaken, I think Cornell won the ECAC's when the championships first moved to Albany. So, a fitting end to an era, winning the last ECAC's in Albany. Of course, feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: You Are the Committee - 14 years ago
Definitely rooting for a Cornell win tomorrow, but getting 3 ECAC teams into the NCAA's should we lose is not decent consolation. I guess there's a silver lining in either outcome tomorrow. Still, LET'S GO RED!by RedAR - Hockey
Re: North Dakota and UMD Thursday 3/18/10 - 14 years ago
I suppose we should be rooting for North Dakota (as much as it pains me to say it). UMD winning could overtake Yale and maybe Cornell in PWR, right?by RedAR - Hockey
Re: North Dakota and UMD Thursday 3/18/10 - 14 years ago
It's on FCS Central. On FIOS in NYC, channel 301.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Other Scores, Sunday March 14 - 14 years ago
Well, while all the scores for tonight are not in yet, Yale is #12 in the Pairwise after tonight's loss.by RedAR - Hockey
Bemidji State Hockey on front page of NYTimes - 15 years ago
As of 9:10pm, this story is on the front page of www.nytimes.com Nice to see college hockey as a feature story!by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0, Colgate 0 (pre-game) - 15 years ago
No video or audio from B2. Great! Listening to Redcast for now. Anyone getting the B2 feed yet?by RedAR - Hockey
RedCast livestream on iPhone - 15 years ago
I just confirmed tonight that I can get livestreams of the RedCast on my iPhone! Only audio, no video, but still, pretty cool! To make this work, you'll need the free applicaiton FStream. Basically, you need to get the URL of the feed (once you've logged into cornellbigred.com and get the stream going, you'll be able to get the URL). A bit tedious, but if you're patient enough to type in the Uby RedAR - Hockey
Re: Frozen four championship game BC4-ND1 - 16 years ago
Speaking as a biased Cornell fan, and rooting for the underdogs tonight, seems like BC ALWAYS get the call! Oh well...by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Watching the Colgate Game in NYC - 17 years ago
It's been pretty good so far, in terms of the video feed. Couple of freezes, but fairly consistently good. If it was bad, I'd be home by now. Be warned, my wofe and I are the only Cornell people here.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Watching the Colgate Game in NYC - 17 years ago
Looks as if the video source will be no-access. Hoping that the feed works smoothly tonight.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Watching the Colgate Game in NYC - 17 years ago
I'm at Ship of Fools now, surrounded by Colgate folks. Other nyc Cornell folks, stop by to get a BIG RED cheering section going!by RedAR - Hockey
Re: We want more..... - 17 years ago
Also, in the past, I believe the cheer was much slower and deliberate. one... two... three... we want more!... sieve... sieve... sieve... it's all your fault The cheer has sped up quite a bit. one two three we want more.. sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve.. it's all your fault. Another change has been the number of "sieves" shouted has been establishedby RedAR - Hockey
Re: Harvard 2 @ Cornell 3 postgame thread (11/10/06) - 17 years ago
Not that it really matters, but in terms of stats, does scoring an EAG hurts your PP conversion percentage? That just doesn't seem right.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Harvard 2 @ Cornell 3 postgame thread (11/10/06) - 17 years ago
1) Maybe I'm spoiled, but our faceoffs were horrible. 2) The box shows that Cornell was 0-6 on the PP, but doesn't scoring on a delayed penalty count as a PPG?by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Where in New York City - 17 years ago
The place is called Ship of Fools, located on 82nd St. and 2nd Ave. (212-570-2651), and they really are Cornell Hockey friendly. They have required a per person minimum in the past, but if I recall correctly, then the Cornell games were during the NCAA's and competing with squeakball tourney games. They MAY not require a minimum at this point in the season, but that's something for you to negotiaby RedAR - Hockey
Re: Yale Roll Call - 17 years ago
I'll be at Yale with Christina, plus 5. Some Yalies, others neutral. Can't make Brown...by RedAR - Hockey
#lynah chatting - 17 years ago
In preparation for tomorrow night's game, can someone post the irc chatting info? I'm ashamed to admit, I've forgotten all the details. Thanks, LET'S GO RED, and congrats to RPI on taking one from Denver!by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Dividing loyalties? - 18 years ago
OK, I have the simplest situation... Went to Cornell from 92-97 (architecture), and then went to Harvard 2000-2004. Guess which team I root for, and which team I don't? Crodge2K, no comments about turn-jersey...by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Watching Regionals in NYC - 18 years ago
The owner estimated that there were about 140 people last night. He's reserving both rooms for us tonight so that there will be plenty of seating.by RedAR - Hockey
Re: Watching Regionals in NYC - 18 years ago
I confirmed with Glen, the owner of Ship of Fools, that a crowd about equal to tonight's crowd will be coming. And yes, he stated that he liked us better than the basketball crowd, but then again, maybe he tells the basketball crowd that he likes them better than the hockey crowd.by RedAR - Hockey
