Did Pegoraro just have a halfway open net, left side, to shoot at ... and then stickhandled twice to get closer and another defender took away the puck?

more good talk about the student section from the Clarkson announcers. :-)

Does Dodge play 60 minutes? It certainly seems like it...

McKee makes a save and the rebound trickles wide...

I was asking the person that said they were posting from Section G. I figure they had the best chance of knowing what was going on in the rink...

Moulson made a good interception to keep the pressure on Clarkson.

Bizarre and inexplicable period. We controlled the play territorily, but Leggio was excellent and Clarkson capitalized on the few chances they had. While we've clearly been the stronger team and you would have to like our chances based on the overall play, OT is such a crapshoot.

We're getting some excellent opportunities, but Clarkson is doing a solid job keeping us from getting grade A chances. And, Leggio continues to look strong. Clarkson's playing the classic "rope a dope" style -- hoping to capitalize on a mistake (and we've certainly made enough of those).

My call is Cornell/Seminoff. Don't ask me why.

For Clarkson, it'd be Weller. The guy has been all over the place all night. Great player.

Weller... really? twitch

Last month y'all said he was a "goon". lol....

Rich, no one called him a goon. Only you did. In fact, Dpperk29 said, "I actually agree with Rich S that clarkson isn't as goony anymore... and weller can skate... can't score, but he can skate..."

Weller and goon from the last 90 days:

Yawn.

sounds like the red are dominating, eh?

The ref is not calling obstruction or interference. Time to start doing some picks

That's your home ice advantage right there. rolleyes

If Clarkson is allowed to haul down Cornell players charging to the net it's only fair.

LGR!

oh ok.

but you know Schafer is the "master" of the clutch and grab....and illegal pick. :-D

Having witnessed Minnesota looking tired, I'd prefer that we didn't make that reference.

I guess, unless if you consider obstruction/interference to be dry humping Gleed against the boards away from the puck and dragging down Topher while he's cycling. It's not being called on anyone. The whistles have disappeared.

1-1 after the first period. We hustled to a 3-1 lead in the second period, only to let Clarkson tie it on 2 bad defensive plays, both of which had O'Byrne's fingerprints all over them!

There's now about 2 minutes left in the 1st OT.
