Clearly, RPI's running some kind of script.  :-(

Yeah, well, we're the ones with the world class supercomputing center.  Geez, you nerds... fix it!
Cornell: well, the transnational buzzword apparently stuck.  Oof...we've got the Wolfowitz stigma?  Reno, Ginsberg, and Dryden.  They trump Wolfowitz and Bettman, right?
You forgot Coulter.  ::uhoh::

QuoteSubject: THE NUMBERS IN THOSE POLLS

Notwithstanding the fact that I think your description of Cornell was somewhat less flattering than those of RPI and MIT, I sure hope you don't end up deciding where to send Alex purely based on the numbers in the current Straw Poll. You must realize by now that there are people capable of gaming these polls with scripts, so the results don't accurately reflect anything other than who cheats best. Whether that says something about the talent of Cornell's coders or their ethical standards, I'll leave as an exercise for the reader. ;-)

Anyway, this whole saga has been a lot of fun for us Cornell alumni, and although I suspect you'll probably end up sending Alex to Walden despite her protestations, we do appreciate the publicity!

Having Bill Maher helps... I read that they are actually good friends.

http://www.doonesbury.com/strip/faqs/index.html It's hard to fathom that they will go by the poll, but nevertheless the link states at the end that Alex is going to MIT.

I suppose that just like not getting Chris Huxley, RPI might be better off for losing this one.

And congrats for winning Miss Congeniality. ::rolleyes::

We'll take it.  Our main facetime area is called "Ho Plaza."  Clearly, we are not proud.

Rachel Trudeau graduated from that school in New Haven last Monday.  Boola, boola.
Bow wow wow!
