Colgate alum (Class of 2000) Andy McDonald is a star for Anaheim.  He and McKee never faced each other in college, but it's always nice to see an ECAC connection in the pros . . .

This season, he earned a 22-9-4 record with a 2.08 goals-against-average (GAA) and .910 save percentage (SV%), helping the Big Red to the 2006 Men's Frozen Four Tournament. Cornell fell to Wisconsin in the second round, despite McKee's career-high 59 saves in the 1-0 game (3 OT).

The NCAA field of 16 is now the "Frozen Four Tournament"?!  I don't think so.

wow...$850k?  Is that over the life of his 2 year contract?  Seeing how he is joining at the end of the season, does that mean he's making $850k for the rest of this season?  And another 850k next season?

Pretty sure that's per year. And pretty sure it'd be prorated for whatever portion of this year that he played.
