Based on the Harvard game, Feola tops my hit list.

Based onevery game I'm seen him call, Feola tops my list.  Players get hurt when he refs.

If you lead a good life, go to Sunday school and church, and say your prayers every night, when you die, you'll go to LYNAH!

I agree.  In fact I'd go one step further and say he was the best ECAC ref we saw all year.  He refereed all three games against Colgate this year.

My picks to go are Feola, Hansen, maybe Dell, and... well, Feola again.

Agreed.  As a prominent Cornell hockey figure has said, "at least John Murphy knows the rules.  That's more than you can say for some of them."

Nov. 30, 1996: The Miami (OH) player with the puck loses his helmet, the Big Red back off knowing it's illegal for him to play without it and illegal for them to hit him while he lacks it, yet the ref fails to whistle the play dead; the helmet-less player passes through the slot to a teammate for the GWG.

The only other instance (that I can recall specifically, anyway) where I've understood the rules to say or mean something other than what the officiating crew did was when a Cornell player skated backwards into the offensive zone in advance of the puck but in complete control of it, and the play was whistled dead for offsides.

I suspect others here will have a number of other specific memories of refs getting things wrong?
