Don't worry, Harvard still...

....SUCKS

After pasting us on Saturday and all of this talk of their 5 straight ECAC final and NCAA tourney appearances I realize that there may be some confusion. I just wanted to clarify things.

Another quick exit for the Can't-advs in the NCAAs.
All doubt has now been removed.

Hey that's a good sign for next year: Harvard Can't-advs: One and Done since 2001 (I don't know if it is the right year but it rhymes)

(how sad is it when you bump your own thread):)

I can't be the only one pissed at HU tankin' in the NCAAs.  I was definitely one of the people who found it hard to root for them this year after last week, but I had to admit that they looked like a buzzsaw at Albany.  I thought they might actually have some NCAA success this year... but of course, I was just being foolish.  They suck ass.

2002 was when it started - after they beat us in LP. But I guess "since 2001" is fairly fair, cause it does apply to that time frame, only they had a year in there without an appearance.

tired of the "fat Mike" remarks by the few H fans on uscho.

Tubby Teddy is STILL One and Done Donato
(and he's bald.)

Pissed?  No.

Disappointed that they were embarrassed and didn't at least make a game of it? Yes.

Maybe bothman can tell us again how well Harvard's tough out-of-conference schedule prepares them for the NCAAs.::rolleyes::

RedAR

Al, be careful, Jordan 04 might question why anyone would be thinking about bothman after a big Big Red win. ::rolleyes::

He can also tell us how Schafer should be canned because we can not play with fast-skating western teams and how much better of a coach Donato because of his more modern, up-tempo style and NHL and international experience.

one and done again for hahvahd, such a shame ::worry::

Of the four possible outcomes (Cornell win/loss, Harvard win/loss), a Cornell win / Harvard loss is second only to a Cornell win and a Harvard win now followed by an H loss in a round where we're still playing, such as tomorrow or the Frozen Four.

Last week's loss hurts a lot less. Today it feels as if last week was an anomaly, not a fatal flaw in Cornell's plans.

I don't think is was either.  It was emblematic of this year's team, which could take two staight from #1 Colgate when it mattered most while getting SHUT OUT by both Princeton (costing us Ivy AND ECAC titles) and RPI.

As a player, losing's never fun, but it's more palatable being beaten by a better team rather than by your own errors. Maine's win tends to reinforce the latter.

More selfishly, had we beaten H, I might have been able to go to the games, assuming we would have been seeded in either Albany or Ma. ;-)

JohnnieAg\'99

They may suck, but they did beat us at Lynah & in the ECAC finals :-(

I'd much rather beat them at Bright for the Ivy title, finish fourth in the RS, crush them for the ECAC title, and go 0-1 in the NCAAs than lose the Ivy title, finish third in the RS, lose to them badly in Albany, and go 1-1 in the NCAAs - even if the loss was epic.

Who here would rather have our season than theirs?? I'm just talking statistically, in terms of finishes, titles, records, etc.  Anyone???  ::screwy::
